I decided to file with Fremont VITA as my taxes this year were more complicated than usual. I was stunned by how efficient and stress-free filing with them was. The volunteer staff was friendly and informative. I will definitely file with them next year, and encourage other friends and family to do so as well. And the price is right!

This is my first time visiting VITA for assistance in filing my taxes. All the volunteers were extremely friendly and helpful. While my taxes were a bit more complicated than most, my volunteer was extremely patient and positive throughout the whole process. Highly recommend!! :)

I've been doing my taxes with VITA for the past 3 years and have always been impressed with the quality service that the VITA volunteers provide. The tax preparers and other volunteers are very knowledgeable and friendly. I highly recommend this great community resource to everyone in the tri-city area.

They file your taxes for free! I've been there two years in a row, and they really streamline the process of getting your taxes done and over with very easily. Make sure you have all your papers (and check their website for what to bring, i.e. ID and social security card). Sometimes, putting money in an IRA account can really help with getting a tax return or lessening how much you owe. Ask them about that--they can plug it in the computer and play around with the numbers.
