I have been working with Mora Chapman CPAs for many years and continue to be incredibly impressed. So impressed, I have referred several friends and colleagues to Alison and Sarene. They truly take the time to make sure they understand the unique nuances of your tax situation and help you to strategize for future years. Both Alison and Sarene are professional, knowledgeable, accurate and expeditious, they are outstanding! I would highly recommend this firm!

I am writing this review with sincere gratitude and appreciation to Mora Chapman CPAs, for the exceptional service they have provided me, throughout the past seven (7) plus years. Allison has handled all my tax related matters skillfully and have always been the consummate professional. She is extremely knowledgeable and knows exactly how to assist. Both Allison and Sarene have great positive energy and always make clients feel relaxed and comfortable about being in good hands. I am particular appreciative that Allison took the time to meet with me, on short notice and resolved a few tax related issues I had. I highly recommend Mora Chapman CPAs for all tax related service needs, and I personally look forward to working with them for many years to come! Stephen Virdure

Here is an email (copy and pasted), from Alison Mora Chapman to me on 3/27/23, “I can’t read minds, and there is not enough time in the world to education my clients about every single deduction and credit that is available. You can seek assistance elsewhere for the amended 2021 tax return if you aren’t happy with my services or fees.” To hear from your CPA that she does not have the time to educate her clients? This is why we get a CPA! A CPA is supposed to be an expert who should ADVISE you on how to save you money. This is why you pay top dollar for a CPA. To recap this situation, we have been with Alison for 7-8 years. 3 years ago, we had a child. Is it unreasonable to expect our CPA to inform us of the tax credits/deductions we qualify for after having a child? We don’t think so, but she obviously strongly disagrees. We were told by coworkers that we get a credit for having our child in daycare. When we brought this to Alison, she went back to amend our prior years’ taxes and sent us a bill to process this change. We kindly disputed the bill, as we felt this is something she should have brought to our attention as she knew we were new parents and we are paying top dollar for her services. She responded with the above. Your choice, but if you want to trust your CPA is doing everything they can to benefit you, per Alison, “there is not enough time in the world to education my clients.”

My husband and I have been with Mora and Serene for many years now. They’re great! Very organized. They mail out your packet at the beginning of the year to help get your tax docs in order. Always happy to help answer my questions with patience and knowledge. Super accommodating…I just drop our tax info off and they give me a call when it’s time to sign. They make doing taxes easy and painless!

We are very happy with the service we receive with Alison and Sarene. Each January they send a packet of information to help us know what to collect and bring to the office so that our returns can be prepared. i can email questions and know that I will receive a timely reply. Our returns are prepared efficiently and are compared to those of the previous year. We highly recommend Mora Chapman.
