I've had to file 2 amended returns while doing my taxes with Lucero Tax & Accounting. During the process Jimmy seen no urgency in my matter and blew me off for days. He doesn't return phone calls. I had to call back several times just to speak to him. Then when I did talk to him he told it'll be another 3 + days before he can do anything so I asked him if I could call and all he said was I should've got a letter and the number will be on it. And that that will save him some work! Well I didn't get a letter and paid Jimmy for these follow up services which clearly he doesn't care about. Also should mention he had to cancel it first original appointment because "he forgot". Horrible customer service and pain to deal with this company that I paid services for. Save yourself the headache and hire someone else!

For the past 2 years I've had to do an amended return and Lucero Tax & Accounting has been no help in the process although I paid them for services. Poor poor poor customer service. DON'T USE THEM!! I wont ever again!

A disgusting place, horrible irresponsible people, now Im going to pay a fine of $2,500.00 all for sending my taxes late and Jimmi always says. .. not a problem there but there it is and now the IRS is charging me

Jimmy has a guy named Derek answering the phone. He does a good job and is always very polite. I truly appreciate it

I used them a few years ago and they were excellent. This year has been horrible trying to work with them. Their communication is awful, Jimmy himself jumped on the phone was rude, told me not to ask questions and said he would call me back on Monday well it's Friday now and no word. I never write bad reviews but these guys deserved this one.

RUN! This was absolutely the worst experience I have had with a CPA. I provided all of the required information yet when I received my taxes back to review ALL of the information was incorrect. When asked where all of the discrepancies came from Jimmie said "Oh well you didn't provide us with any info for your business so we just put numbers in" That should have been my first sign to run but my business partner told me to have faith and that he had always done a great job taking care of her. Second red flag for me was finding out that after being told Jimmie personally would take care of my stuff he passed all of my info off to a stranger and my taxes were once again sent to me all messed up. THEN after weeks of trying to contact anyone about this, their office FORCED to file an extension because Jimmie was "gone" and apparently no one else was capable of fixing things properly by the filing date. Then as soon as I paid the atrociously high fee I was charged all communication stopped. They stopped replying to my communications in October when I was facing concerns as to whether my taxes had actually been filed or not. THEY STILL SHOW NOTHING FOR 2019 on the IRS website and I cant get any answers as to why. So after paying a lot of money for the biggest headache of my life I am now going to have to deal with the IRS myself because this business is a JOKE. I've now not received two stimulus payments losing thousands of dollars that could help my family because Jimmies carelessness and the fact that my taxes seem to be no where to be found.

I have had my taxes done by Lucero for several years. Initially, his service was great, but the last two years, forms were not correctly filed and he filed a paper tax return. I was astounded when I found out that he does not use electronic filing and yet charged quite a bit for such simple taxes. Emails and phone calls were not returned. I'm not sure why the service has deteriorated so precipitously, but I will not be using his services again.

Ive used their accounting services for almost 7 years! They handle IRS issues and ALL accounting methods properly and answer any concerns I have.
