Where Our Taxes Went on Vacation Here’s a plot twist: after two years with Keys Accounting, we found out from the IRS that none of our business taxes were ever filed. That’s right—three years’ worth! We signed off, and were told everything was “taken care of.” Surprise! Now we’re left with unfiled returns, missed deductions, and a tax mess. To be fair, we tried to roll with their challenges—family losses, peak-season vacations, surgeries, key employees leaving, you name it. We wanted to be understanding. But our sympathy doesn’t pay IRS penalties, and professionalism shouldn’t go on holiday. If you’re in the Florida Keys, listen up: we’ve learned other local businesses have had the same experience. Wish we’d known sooner, so we’re telling you now. Avoid Keys Accounting unless you want to be the next “plot twist.”

Absolutely awful experience. Communication is zero. They submitted my taxes late and now I'm getting late penalty letters from the IRS because of them, and you call their office and don't hear back from them ever. Never using this company again. What a joke.
