Worst experience ever! We have given our documents to Tom Ayers a month before the tax due date. We had heard nothing until we emailed the night of April 14th. Tom stated they have done our taxes and will file an extension for us. During the next 2 months, we tried email, call, visiting their office... NO RESPONSE! The receptionist lied to us many times about Tom's availability to speak to us. We could not get any word on where they are on our taxes. Later after we finally got connected with their office manager. We found out that ALL of their e-file of extensions were rejected. They had to mail them instead. This is two months AFTER the file due date! We had to file our taxes with others. We had never been late on our taxes our entire lives. Due to no fault of ours, this firm caused us delay of filing taxes, and suffered with late fees. To this date, Tom Ayers has NEVER called us to apologize or offering any reasons of his gross negligence. Utterly disrespectful! Stay far away from this firm! Robert and Sharon

I hired this firm for personal taxes. The experience was frustrating at several points: They were poor communicators, delayed our filing for no apparent reason, and it cost me hundreds in fines because they didn't fill out the paper work correctly. They are unprofessional and not competent for this straight-forward CPA function.

This company is the WORST Accounting firm I have ever been introduced to. Do not let them have access to your information. My business account was hacked, they are always on vacation when you need answers, and don't keep up with their own invoices. The partners won't even return emails, phone messages, etc when you try to reach out to them with the issues. This accounting firm has caused so much undo stress to my business. I just found a new accounting firm that just filed my 2022 taxes in November that Teipen should have filed earlier this year.

12/23/23 - Kudos to Tom and the team at Teipen, stilll amazing! Tom Ayres has worked with my business partner for several years and I would not be happier working with Tom. As a small business owner, he was able to guide me in a way that my past CPA was not and his firm has a great culture that is evident from their team and high quality of work. I got my taxes done this year with Jeff Thomas, one of the partners who did absolutely nothing for my taxes. Had more success googling “help with deductions.” I do NOT recommend this firm, unless you don’t need any help and want to be left with a big bill without any warning. The only positive note is the office manager, Michelle. She was very kind, and helpful.
