John, Tim, Lauren, and Margaret; who I have had the pleasure of working with through the years, have the highest level of professionalism, give financial saving advice after preparing our tax returns, and have expert knowledge of the tax laws. Kamp & Boer tax preparation fee is higher than other firms in the region, but their services and expertise are well worth the extra cost. I would highly recommend them.

This is my first year going to Kamp & Boer after a few disappointing years with another CPA in the area. Kamp & Boer had me explain my tax needs (IL worker living in IN, small business partnership, and a few other somewhat out of the ordinary circumstances) in a one-on-one meeting, were upfront about pricing (what I consider affordable for a professional CPA--I look to work with professionals to get the job done well), and were in email and phone contact throughout the process as needed. Though I did make an appointment early in the tax season, I was surprised at how prompt they were in completing the taxes. I will be returning, and I am very glad that I came to Kamp & Boer.

I called in and could tell from the second we started talking they weren't interested in my business. They kept asking if I was on Quick Books to make it easy for them, and they made it seem like I had to do most of the work if I was going to use them. Isn't that why I am paying for a service? There price was 8x higher than the next placed I called. There loss!
