I should start out by letting you know this is going to be a longer review than normal for me. In 2005 my executive assistant found a mistake we had made in our taxes. I had no idea what to do at the time. We suddenly realized that our company owed more taxes than we’ve been paying. Immediately contacted the State of Michigan and the IRS to let them know that we found this mistake. However, I was quite surprised of how difficult it was communicating with the State of Michigan and the IRS over a an accounting mistake with the idea of remedy the issue. Anyway, I found out about Lothemer tax resolution, at this time they were located in downtown Lansing I met with Jesse the owner and within a couple of days he had us on the right track put us in payment plans with the IRS and the state and it was resolved. Fast-forward 6years ago, I’m not sure why, but I had forgotten about Lothamer tax resolution, and I found myself in another tax situation. This time I went with a different tax resolution company. It was a long three-year process and right in the middle of the process they drop me without notice. I was out $40,000 in attorney fees and accounting fees.. After this disaster, my wife mentioned to me what about the company that helped you the first time you had a problem. I couldn’t believe it. I had forgotten all about Lothemer tax resolution. I should note my tax problem is a disaster. The Lothamer group has been helping me for the last three years fixed everything that the previous tax resolution company had done. In closing, I must give this company a five star review. The reason why, Mistakes were made taxes were messed up, and after paying another company over $40,000 and then being dropped without a notice almost broke me as a human being. I would name every single person that I’ve worked with at Lothamor, however, I did not ask their permission and the list might be to long. every single single person meet you at your level they understand that you’re under a great deal of stress. Please understand that every single person at the Lothamor group is so busy , not to busy for you….if you communicate with them, they will communicate back with you. They treat you with dignity, honesty, and respect. The answer your questions to the best of their ability they do not give you unrealistic expectations. I have a great deal of respect for this company and I appreciate every single thing that they’ve done for myself and my wife. Thank you

I needed advice from an attorney in regards to an issue with the IRS and my son. I was given much needed advice and direction. Also, I was advised to take a free route to address my issue and given all of the information to resolve my issue. Lothamer Tax Resolution is fair and honest, which I extensively thankful for!

I would not recommend their services to anyone we are still suffering tax issues from them that happened 5 years ago.We only had a tax issue for 2017 taxes their high pressure salesman talked us in to filing 2016 and 2018 taxes that the irs wasn't asking for so they could make more money off us took us they took us for 12,000 dollars no communication from them all they did was put us in more debt to IRS didn't settle the debt like we wanted them to do the got us an unaffordable payment plan that we could of got for ourself without their help.I dont want to see other people make the same mistake we made.

I would give this company negative stars if I could. PLEASE stay far far away from this shady company, whatever your tax problems are, I promise you they will make them much worse while scamming you out of more money. I am currently battling them now over 3,000 dollars they insist on adding to my bill and services which they did not have my permission or signature to do. They also set up a monthly payment plan for taxes owed to the state without even asking for my signature or approval on the dollar amount and not even notifying me until today (21 days before they will be expecting the first payment) they are basically leaving me in the negative monthly by not even asking me what I could afford as a single parent of an autistic so, I work 50 hours a week and get zero help from the state or the government. This company does not know what they are doing at all nor are they professional on any level. Please do not make the same mistake as me!

We owed over 175,000, We thought it was over for us. We found Chris and Cody and all the great folks at Lothamer and they are still on our side 1000%. We thought the retainer was high at first but after we saw how much work they do, how thorough they went through our case, and how much skill and knowledge they have for negotiation with you know who, we entered an engagement we thought we could not afford. Now we are very grateful we did. All said and done they got us a settlement for 7000. You do the math, do not hesitate to engage this firm to get your life back on track. PS: We are real people and this is a true story. Our final total cost to get to the settlement was under 25% of the debt. You need these lawyers on your team!

Ive known Stacy for over 20 yrs .she dependable .always smiling even when under the weather. Cares about her customers. Goes way beyond call of duty to help what they need.if I owned a business Id have her work for me but amazing friend I gained as well.. I miss her.. love you Stacy
