RSM used to be a fine place for tax preparation, but it has become a difficult place to deal with and very impersonal. Very poor communication, can never call and get to speak with anyone, they take forever to return calls or return emails if at all. Finally, we gave up and left.

We used their tax preparation service for the first time. We thought it might be a good idea to have a professional do our taxes due to several life changes. Unfortunately, we cannot say we are happy with their service. They did not manage to finalize the tax return on time and we had to file for an extension. Their communication throughout the process was poor and we constantly had to ask them for updates. They made several mistakes in the initial report and had to prepare extra forms. Of course, we were also charged for the preparation of the wrong forms. The final bill was more than twice the amount they had told us in the beginning. We do not recommend this company for tax preparation.

When you cannot talk to a live person when you call, then that firm is too large to take care of you! The quality of this firm's services have sharply declined over the past few years. Go somewhere else.
