My family worked with Steve for over 30yrs. He handled all aspects of our family’s financial life-both business and personal. Steve was much more to our family than our tax preparer; he was an integral part of our family’s day-to-day life. He oversaw and managed our family’s finances. He did everything from prepare our taxes to pay our household bills and was involved with most of our family’s financial transactions-from the buying of cars to the buying or selling of properties or businesses. We didn’t make a move without him. Over the decades, I occasionally tried to get my father to transfer the overseeing of our financial life to another accountant because I did not trust Steve. As a young adult I terminated my involvement with him and went elsewhere. I trust Steve even less now, and I am uncomfortable that he still possesses my identifier information. I highly recommend that you choose someone else. Amendment Nov 9th: C’mon Baker, it wasn’t a great relationship. My brother, a sister and I thought you should have been fired decades ago. And now, no one thinks highly of you. There’s nothing to discuss. I stand behind my comment.
