Service is OK. I feel confident my taxes are being filed in compliance. Brooks Alliance's operations are a bit messy with duplicative and inaccurate communication from several team members (Angelika). The response rate could also use some work.

Brooks Alliance prepared mine and my parent’s taxes this year. I’ve been using them as my tax preparers for the past 3 years and the process is always quick and easy. Lynnae is communicative , knowledgeable, very skillful, and patient during our meetings. The turnaround time from start to finish is quick and easy.

It's disheartening for me to express my dissatisfaction with Brooks Alliance after being a client for two years. Regrettably, I cannot in good conscience recommend their services to new business owners seeking tax assistance due to their glaring lack of professionalism and communication. The communication from this company is shockingly poor. Consultation calls are consistently delayed and lack substance, leaving clients feeling underwhelmed and uninformed. Strategic planning is virtually nonexistent, with no effort made to ensure clients understand their taxes, spending throughout the year, or how to optimize returns. While I've read reviews praising the team's efforts to educate clients on financial matters and provide valuable resources, I personally haven't experienced anything close to that level of service. Despite my initial enthusiasm for supporting a Black woman-owned business, I feel let down by the team under Ms. Business's leadership. Important details like missing information in tax filings and how to properly complete organizers were never communicated to me. Brooks Alliance fails to deliver on essential tax services like planning, projections, and adequate preparation. Instead, they seem more concerned with boasting about their client numbers and busy schedules, losing sight of their clients' needs in the process.

This review is in regards to the service not to the owner in particular simply because Ive never spoke directly to her, only her agents this was by far the worst and most unprofessional tax prep company that I have dealt with, I was passed around with different tax prep agents from day 1, once I finally had my documents uploaded and my money was paid (over $700) for business and personal I was scheduled for a meeting, then re-scheduled again because she wasnt available, then once the day and time arrived again I sat by the phone I was told they couldnt make contact with me so they rescheduled again! when I asked to speak to Malaysia they said she wasnt in the office? Then said well actually she is here but shes with another client ? I was so frustrated and felt scammed out of my time and money, I never was rescheduled nor received a refund, and my bank said since I used my debit card to pay they wouldnt be able to refund my money..what a waste.. I wouldnt recommend them at all to anyone please do your research first, Im really disappointed that there are so many 5 star reviews and that I couldnt get the same service afforded to me.. I love my black people but this is why Its hard to business just because its a well known black owned company LESSON LEARNED .!

Did my taxes with Lisa at Brooks Alliance this year she was incredibly helpful. I’m happy to have found a knowledgeable tax professional I can trust right here in my area, definitely will be filing for years to come.

I highly recommend working with Brooks Alliance. Not only are they knowledgeable, they are also very personable. They realize how important and how sensitive the issue of taxes (and the IRS) can be. So they really make you feel comfortable during the onboarding process AND they dont rush their clients during the appointments. They truly want to help people. Ive been working with them for two tax seasons so far and I refer others to them whenever I can. 5 Stars all the way!
