I was very pleased with ETS for my 2020 tax year. The communication was somewhat poor for tax year 2021 but it worked. For 2022 tax year it was awful. They filed the taxes and emailed that they would make an e-payment if I sent our bank account details, which I did. I called the day before it was due since I'd had no communication. My wife and I drove there and signed. A week later, we discovered that our payment had not been sent and my emails all bounced back as undeliverable. I received a returned call from a different person saying that because we drove there and signed, we should have mailed the payment.

Up until this Year I have been happy. This week my tax preparer failed to include my Social Security in my Federal Income tax, I was advised I would get a refund, but when I discovered the error of my Social Security an amended tax had to be filed so I owe $406 , which is problematic until I have to pay “ refund back “ now I have to pay $1650 I am incredibly ANGRY AND DISAPPOINTED

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. My family and I went to file our taxes here for the first time, on Saturday and it was horrible from start to finish. As a young black family, my husband and our 2 small children waited over an hour to be seen by our tax preparer, Brian. Prior to that, there was an older white couple who came in after us and were seen before us. Once we finally sat down with Brian and he saw our 2021 tax return he said that the IRS likes when the man is listed first on the tax return and that he would fix it to say that. Then, after an hour goes by, he clearly was having trouble calculating my office aquare footage and instead of saying that, we sat longer and asked me questions about other possible tax exemptions that he had already asked about when we first sat down. Close to almost being done, I realized I had forgotten our tax paper for our daycare deduction and shared with him that I did and could send it to him by email or fax it so that he could use it or even give him the numbers on it. He said it was not something he could do because they had closed already and that I was giving him another tax exemption and that he was still working on the deduction for the office and that I had to come back. I explained to him that we had been there an hour passed our appointment before we were seen and his excuse was that people similarly had forgotten their documents and had to go back home and get them so that was why my appointment started late, but for me, someone who could give him the numbers right there, he would not grant that same wish. I planned another appointment with him even though I had already brought my husband and 2 small children to this appointment., his response was that usually people dont bring their spouses and that I can mail my tax forms to him once we signed. The appointment he acheduled me for wasnt ubtil the very end of next week, all for 1 paper I couldve literally emailed him right there. He didn't even bother putting the appointment on the calendar or anything. I asked him if we would even get anything back, he said he didn't know and didn't look and that because his computer was shut out of the tax program he couldn't go back to look because then he would have to login all of his passwords again. He didn't bother giving us the forms to sign whole we were there so that it was one less thing we had to do. Brian had no regard for us, he didn't even have the decency to show us out until I asked. Just all around a terrible experience. I highly WOULD NOT recommend and I will be making a formal complaint thing tomorrow morning.
