I hate to have to leave a bad review on a black owned business. I just hope this helps them do better. I first contacted this business August 5, 2024 to have them do some work for me. I sent everything that was asked of me and did not hear back from this Business for two weeks I was then told that they would be able to help me and I have scheduled one meeting since and they were a no show. I never received a call, text, or email in response to me leaving several. I am very disappointed. I was really Looking forward to working with a black owed tax company.

It saddens me to write this review. Dont waste your time or money filing with Mr.Taxes. He does not effectively communicate in a timely manner, and he is not reliable. He did not file my taxes, and when I followed up, he did not respond. I eventually filed with someone else after the Tax deadline. Mr.Taxes then followed with me three months later. Overall it was a frustrating experience that shouldnt have happened.

This experience was great in regards to understanding tax changes for the pass three years. Mr. Taxes help me nevigate through it all I am greatful.

Grotesquely overpriced. Bait and switch. Pay an agreed upon amount then either pay whatever extra fees he wants or pay the IRS. Return preparation went from $250 to $1250

Does a great job. Makes you feel comfortable and patient. If you just want taxes done then you need to go elsewhere. If you want your taxes done right by aknowledgeable person who really cares about what they do, than Mr. TAXES is where you need to go

He had my refund sent to a offshore account where he took an extra $500 and told me the reason I didn’t get my full refund back was because I owed for no health insurance but when I called the IRS they told me that wasn’t the case and that all of my money went to his account. Now I can get in contact with him. It’s sad that black owned businesses will try to take money from their own people. Please avoid this man!
