This business cannot be relied upon. Sure, like all businesses, if everything goes according to plan, things are fine, but the moment they make a mistake, they drop you and tell you to go somewhere else. My wife and I use Hood CPA to do our taxes. This year, they misfiled those taxes, which has resulted in a $1200 tax payment becoming lost at the IRS. Even worse, we noticed the error in the paperwork ahead of time and were ASSURED that there would be no issues. So here we are, months down the line, and the IRS is threatening to seize property, and all the while Ryan Hood and his team have been whistling along like there isn't a problem. When we finally brought the issue up insistently (a strongly worded email, but not an impolite one), Ryan responded by telling us that they would no longer be working with us and to handle our tax troubles (which THEY caused) on our own. He even implied that we were behaving inappropriately by reaching out with a sense of urgency. Do not do business with these people. When the going gets tough, they WILL drop you.

Ryan and his team were so great to work with. My husband and I needed a very important document completed to give to our lender in order to proceed with closing on our first house. We have been through a roller coaster in purchasing our first house due to last minute requests from our lender and when we reached out for Ryan’s help, he was able to make some magic happen and got us the needed document in a timely manner. Without him and his team, I don’t know what my husband and I would’ve done. By his prompt response, we got all we needed to close on our first house and we couldn’t be more thankful! I highly recommend Ryan Hood and his team. Again, thanks for all you’ve done for us!
