Sumi is a very kind person. I am not a customer I only called to asked a few questions about the PPP loan and she helped me no questions asked. No other CPA in Austin was willing to give me a minute of time or call us back evan our own CPA. I highly recommend Sumi as I will be personally using her service after business gets back to usual!!!

Have been using Sumi for two years now and couldn't be happier! She takes the time to explain everything and answer any questions you may have. Sumi is simply amazing. She is knowledgeable, trustworthy, and knows how to get things done. I normally do my taxes with TurboTax but 2017 had some life events where I needed to hire an expert. Sumi helped me nearly triple my return! Needless to say, I have found my CPA for many years to come.

I called Sumi with an urgent (to me) issue regarding the IRS taking all of my refund for someone else's debts. She agreed to meet me very early the next day and had already researched my issue as she'd not come across it before. I gave her all the paperwork she needed and she promised to have it to me a few hours later! She did just that! I had my 2015 taxes to file yet as well, and I felt so good about her when meeting her, I agreed on the spot to have her do those as well. Same day turnaround on both items. Now, this is late July, we cannot expect her to do the same at peak times, but I was very impressed with Sumi and will use her services again. I will also gladly share her name with friends.

I have had Sumi Elangovan prepare my taxes since 2013. She has helped facilitate both my single filing and joint filing after marriage. It has been a blessing having a trustworthy, reliable, and most importantly, efficient, CPA to work with. I have usually filed all of my paperwork by mid-February with Sumi and she promptly returns the following documents within, at times, a single business day (if not less): Statement of Charges for Services Rendered Tax Summary and Instructions for Filing She prepares them professionally and simply. When adjustments arise or new documents are added she expeditiously amends the form and graciously updates you and always keeps you abreast of timelines. Each subsequent year she proactively reaches out with a preparation worksheet. After her preparation services are complete, Sumi's true drive and motivation are revealed. She cares about you and your success. She insists on personally meeting to review and collect payment for services and remembers many details about your professional and personal relationship with her. She cares about the livelihoods of those she's working with. This is very rare and to be commended. You are not just a number. Sumi is an amazing CPA!! We struggled for years finding a CPA that would give us, personal attention and answer our questions about taxes. I've been working with Sumi for the past two tax seasons (FY 2012 and 2013) and am privileged to have her as my CPA. She does my husband and my personal taxes every year, as well as the forms needed for our two LLCs. She is incredibly responsive and goes out of her way to help. Because of her strong (but beautiful!) accent, I find it easiest to communicate with her in person. But she always makes herself available to meet with me, talk on the phone, or email. I highly recommend her services.
